AI Transparency Statement
We believe you should understand how ScholarBridge's AI works and where its limits are.
1. What the AI does
ScholarBridge uses large language models and other AI systems to generate notes, questions, slides, feedback and readiness signals from the material you provide. It also uses smaller models for embedding, search, and speech.
2. Where the AI runs
Prompts and content are sent to third-party model providers over encrypted channels under contracts that restrict how they may use the data. We do not authorise providers to train foundation models on your identifiable content.
3. Limits and risks
- AI can be inaccurate, incomplete or biased. Verify outputs before relying on them.
- AI is not a substitute for regulated professional advice (legal, medical, financial or accredited academic advice).
- AI-generated citations may be fabricated. Always confirm the underlying source exists and says what the AI claims.
- Content moderation is best-effort; if you see harmful output, please report it.
4. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for your prompts, for the accuracy of any outputs you rely on, and for the rights to any content you upload.
- Follow the Academic Integrity Policy when using outputs for academic work.
5. Our moderation rights
We may filter, refuse or restrict outputs that violate the Acceptable Use Policy. We may remove content and suspend accounts for repeated infringement or unsafe use.
6. Reporting AI output issues
To report inaccurate, offensive or infringing AI output, email arcn2027@gmail.com with the prompt and output (or screenshot). We take repeated rights-holder complaints seriously and may apply consequences to repeat infringers.
